90-92 A riper and attractively layered nose reflects aromas of citrus confit, white orchard fruit compote and a floral top note. The mouthfeel of the medium-bodied flavors is completely different from those of the Coucherias and Clos de la Féguine in that they’re lush, generous and quite round while retaining good verve that carries over to the nicely complex, balanced and sneaky long finale. While relatively powerful effort this should be capable of repaying 5 to 8 years of keeping, it should also be enjoyable young if that’s your preference.
