90-92 The 2020 Meursault Village comes from three parcels in the appellation. It has a lovely nose, well defined with touches of orange pith, citrus fruit and a touch of white flowers. The palate is lively on the entry, spicier than I was expecting with touches of ginger and lemongrass. Vibrant on the finish with a saline aftertaste. Delicious.

Of all the white wine grape varietals, surely the one that has spread the furthest and is most widely appreciated is Chardonnay. No grape varietal is better suited to this process than Chardonnay, which manages to balance these silky, creamy notes with fresh white fruit flavors beautifully.
