90-93 A cool, ripe and restrained nose requires aggressive swirling to reveal its aromas of plum, newly turned earth, the sauvage and a smoky hint. The medium-bodied flavors possess a gorgeous mouthfeel with good if not exceptional density, all wrapped in a much better-balanced finale. This too could use better depth but the underlying material is such that more will almost certainly develop if given a chance.
