The 2011 Bourgogne Blanc is sourced from several plots encompassing Meursault from which Jean-Marc creates four cuvees that are aged in around 10% new oak that are subsequently blended during racking. It displays fine purity on the nose with hints of cold stone and Granny Smith apple – subtle and dainty. The palate is very well-balanced: tight at first with good depth, yet surprisingly powerful on the finish. This is a fine, somewhat swaggering Bourgogne Blanc. Drink now-2015.
