88-90 The 2018 Savigny-lës-Beaune Les Grands Liards 1er Cru has a harmonious and nicely focused bouquet of brambly black fruit, pressed iris flowers and a light incense aroma. The palate is well balanced with plenty of energy and gentle grip. The surprisingly succulent finish leaves black olives on the aftertaste.
