90-92 The 2021 Corton Clos-du-Roi Grand Cru has a little more presence than the Corton-Bressandes. On the nose, a mélange of red and black fruit commingles with sous-bois and fresh tobacco scents. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit and is nicely structured, though not complex. There’s a satisfying sense of sapidity that urges you back for another sip.
