The pale red 2022 Livverá Bequignol was produced with a rare crossing of Savagnin and Cabernet Franc that comes from France, but there are more than 500 hectares in Argentina. It’s an old parral that delivers good yields. The foot-trodden full clusters fermented for some 45 days, and the wine continued its élevage in concrete. This is quite surprising, floral, with notes of dry roses and with some curious ashy notes, somewhat reminiscent of a Cinsault with notes of red berries and moderate alcohol with good freshness. It’s medium-bodied and easy to drink. 9,000 bottles were filled in October 2022.
