Long-term Pre-arrival Items
Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.

Pretty pink in the glass, with hints of rose, fresh peach and pomegranate aromas on the nose. The palate has a fresh acidity with flavours of red berries, citrus and lingering mineral finish.

Distinctive for their enchanting pink hue, these wines embody the art of balance, blending the robust character of reds with the crispness of whites. Renowned for their versatility, rosé blends offer a diverse palate experience, ranging from bone-dry to subtly sweet, catering to a spectrum of preferences.
Crafting a quality rosé blend requires a winemaker’s expertise to achieve the desired color and flavor profile. Typically, red grape varietals such as Grenache, Syrah, or Sangiovese are coupled with whites like Sauvignon Blanc or Vermentino. The result is a refreshing and vibrant wine with nuanced aromas, making it a perfect companion for various occasions. Whether sipped on a summer day or paired with a gourmet meal, rosé blends exemplify the epitome of elegance, inviting both novices and connoisseurs to explore the nuanced world of wine.
Country
South Africa
Situated on the very tip of the African continent, South Africa has proved itself over three centuries to be an ideal location for producing a wide range of wines. Benefiting from something not dissimilar to a Mediterranean climate, with long, hot summers complemented by both Atlantic and Indian Ocean winds, the grapes which grow on the valleys, mountainsides and plains of this fascinating country can ripen to their fullest capacity, producing wines packed full of fruity flavors and an array of interesting and enticing aromas. As a former colony, South Africa has long since been home to a range of different nationalities, who each brought something of their wine culture with them. As such, many European grape varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Riesling and others have been given time to flourish in South Africa, allowing the country to develop a diverse group of wine types which are proving increasingly popular around the world.
Region
Coastal Region
The coastal region of South Africa is one of the most prodigious and productive wine regions on earth, and one which covers a vast distance making up for most of the tip of the African continent. The history of South African wines is a fascinating and surprisingly long one, with the very first wines in the country being produced by settlers in the 1650s, long before many other New World countries had even been discovered. Today, coastal South African wines are wildly popular around the world thanks to their big, fruity flavors and relative simplicity. Wineries in the region make the most of the hot sunshine, the high quality soils, and the brisk oceanic winds which keep disease at bay and stop the grapes from getting too hot, and produce a wide variety of wines of great distinction.
