Long-term Pre-arrival Items
Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

Bright red-ruby. Slightly porty aromas of blackberry, cassis, menthol licorice and pungent peppery herbs. Intensely flavored but distinctly herbal and a bit medicinal in the style of the year. I find this a bit pungently green and lacking in sweetness, but the mid-palate grain and harmonious tannins are very 2016. Still quite tight and savory, and a bit dry on the finish. This firmly structured wine may yet gain in sweetness and pliancy with time in bottle but it’s a bit medicinal today. (These wines are made by Julia Halupczok and enologist Matias Michelini.) (13.5% alcohol; aged for 12 month in new French oak)
The purple Malbec variety grapes which now grow all over the Old and New Worlds had their origins in France, where they are one of the few grape varieties allowed to be used in the highly esteemed blended wines of Bordeaux. However, it is perhaps the New World Malbec wines which have attracted the most attention in recent years, as they thrive in hot southern climates in ways they cannot in their native country, where the damp conditions leave them highly vulnerable to rot. Malbec grapes are renowned for their high tannin content, resulting in full-bodied red wines packed with ripe, plummy flavors and held in their characteristically dark, garnet colored liquid. In many countries, Malbec is still used primarily as a varietal for blending, as it adds a great level of richness and density to other, lighter and thinner varietals. Winery Notes
Deep red color with black notes and violet dyes. Complex and intense aromas of red and black fruits, spicy and mineral notes., combined with aromas of vanilla, tobacco and chocolate. On the palate it shows a full and concentrated body, ripe tannins, complex and velvety with a persistent finish and great elegance. Its fruity and mineral sensations express an elegant long-lasting wine.
