The 2024 Rosato is zesty, nearly savory in the glass, with crushed wild berries and orange zest. The palate is remarkably fresh with a saline inflection and wild strawberry tones that add crunch. It finishes squeaky clean and precise with nuances of sour cherry.

Winery Notes

100% Sangiovese. Fonterenza hand- harvests fruit from its 1.7-hectare Brunello parcel (Vigna del Bosco) earlier for their rosato. The fruit is direct-pressed and the juice left overnight on the skins. Spontaneous fermentation is with indigenous yeasts in steel tank. The wine does not go through malo and is aged in stainless steel.
