92-94 Here the wood treatment is more evident with touches of toast and menthol surrounding the agreeably fresh aromas of red currant, plum, humus and warm earth. The sleek, delicious and generously proportioned broad-shouldered flavors possess both outstanding concentration and power before culminating in a driving and strikingly persistent bitter fruit pit-inflected finish that is shaped by a prominent and very firm core of ripe tannins. This should be excellent in time.
