The 2022 Pouilly-Fuissé has plenty of peach and pear scents on the nose, with a touch of patisseries in the background. I feel there is a clever use of oak barrels here. The palate is well balanced with a harmonious entry, taut and fresh with that crucial acidity keeping everything balanced and poised towards its spicy, slightly smoky finish. Very fine.
