Long-term Pre-arrival Items
Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

Hiruzta is a family-owned and -run Txakoli producer that began its life in 2007 when Asensio Rekalde and his two sons planted a 17ha, southfacing vineyard in the foothills of Jaizkibel mountain. A winery followed in 2012. The family sells its wines in 20 countries, with this unoaked varietal the heart of a range that includes a red, a rosé and a sparkling. David Williams: Super-bright, racy, fluent and tangy: so much energy and drive, just a hint of CO2 prickle, ripe red apple and saline finish. Matthew Forster MW: Excellent concentration of ripe Conference pear fruit, balanced with invigorating acidity. Very complete. Ines Salpico: Lovely florality with a subtle flinty edge. Fleshy with a lifted tang of lemonade, clementine, yellow apple and juicy melon. Acidity balanced by a mineral edge and juicy fruit.

Winery Notes
Clean and bright. Pale yellow colour with greenish glints against the light. When poured into the glass from a certain height, reveals the presence of tiny carbonation bubbles typically associated with this type of txakoli. Intense aromas of white (pear and apple), citrus (grapefruit) and tropical (pineapple and passion fruit) fruits on the nose, all accentuated by the subtle effervescence of natural carbon dioxide gas. Balanced and fresh in the mouth, it has quite a sharp taste with well-integrated acidity. Agreeable on the palate with hints of citrus and tropical fruits in the aftertaste. Long, aromatic finish.
