Long-term Pre-arrival Items
Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

92-94 The 2020 Morey-Saint-Denis La Riotte 1er Cru was completely de-stemmed this year. This possesses wonderful mineralité and tension on the nose, quite flinty and stony, translating the terroir with style. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grip, a citrus bead of acidity, modest depth but with a very appealing, peppery finish thanks partly to the 30% whole bunch. Excellent.

90-93 Here the nose is aromatically similar to the Clos Baulet but spicier. On the palate the succulent, rich and beautifully textured and palate coating medium-bodied flavors that conclude in a dusty and slightly more complex finale that exhibits fine length. This is lovely and a wine that could be approached after only 4 to 5 years of cellaring yet reward 12 to 15.

Bright raspberry fruit scented with salty mineral notes and a hint of smoke. The texture is fresh and lively, and although the parcel ripened early in 2020, the balance is spot on here. This 0.3ha parcel is in the centre of the village at the foot of the slope, opposite the Clos St-Denis. It lies directly under the combe and does not suffer too much from water stress.
