Long-term Pre-arrival Items
Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

The 2019 Gold Vidal Icewine was fermented and aged for about 14 weeks in 90% new French oak. It comes in with 272 grams of residual sugar, 10.5 of total acidity and 10% alcohol. Rich and unctuous, this also has classic aromatics and a certain level of freshness that keeps it from being particularly cloying. This is also completely delicious, with a little of bit of spicy apricots on the mouthwatering finish. The acidity lifts the fruit and allows it to shine through. It’s never going to be a nervy wine, but it is not flabby either. If you like stickies, this won’t disappoint. It should age very well, acquiring a bit more character along the way. Many will like it the way it is, but it can acquire another dimension in time.
Ice Wine, or Eiswein, is a luscious dessert wine made from grapes that have naturally frozen on the vine. This process concentrates the sugars, resulting in a sweet, rich wine with intense flavors of tropical fruits, honey, and apricots. Originating from Germany and Canada, Ice Wine is typically made from Riesling, Vidal Blanc, or Gewürztraminer grapes. Harvesting takes place in the early morning hours when temperatures drop below -8°C (17°F), ensuring the grapes remain frozen during pressing. The yield is small, making Ice Wine a rare and expensive treat. Its vibrant acidity balances the sweetness, creating a harmonious and refreshing finish. Ice Wine pairs beautifully with fruit-based desserts, blue cheeses, or enjoyed on its own as a decadent finale to a meal.

Winery Notes
The finest and highest Brix Vidal grapes were selected for this vintage which displays ripe peaches and apricots on the nose with overtones of marmalade and candied brown sugar. With intense fruit flavours on the palate, the wine's ample natural acidity is softened with a creamy vanilla note afforded by oak aging.
