The reduction in the amount of new wood on the top end Jacques Prieur wines has really paid dividends in 2018. This enticingly aromatic Musigny hails from a 0.75ha parcel of 46-year-old vines and has an engaging violet perfume, well-integrated 60% new wood, fine-boned tannins, refreshing acidity and the poise and grace you expect from the Grand Cru.
