89-91 Ripe aromas include those of rosemary oil, petrol, apple and pear compote and an all but invisible touch of wood. The medium weight flavors are not quite as dense or refined as those of the Puligny but they more precise and particularly so on the more complex and longer finale where a touch of rusticity emerges. This lovely effort is pretty much textbook Chassagne villages and worth checking out.
