Long-term Pre-arrival Items
Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

Bright red-ruby. Deep, slightly reduced aromas of black raspberry, espresso and smoky minerality. Very concentrated but wonderfully suave, fine-grained and laid-back in the early going, showing no rough edges in spite of its brisk acidity. There’s outstanding energy to the sweet black fruit and soil flavors, with the wine’s new oak and stem elements perfectly integrated. Finishes juicy, firmly tannic and very long, really spreading out horizontally to saturate the palate. Boasts the sappiness and lift of the best 2015s. (Incidentally, Frédéric Drouhin did not present his Bonnes-Mares, as only 300 liters were made in 2015.)

Burghound
Once again there are plenty of floral elements adding breadth to the notably ripe and ultra-spicy cassis, plum liqueur and Asian tea-scented nose where the whole cluster ferment is evident. The classy, wonderfully refined and admirably pure medium-bodied flavors evidence an abundance of minerality on the strikingly complex, balanced and sneaky long finale. This is first-rate and highly recommended.

Hefty, powerful nose of cherry and blueberry fruit. The palate is rich and rounded, and there are powerful tannins that creep up on the mid-palate. Burly for a Vosne, with a lot of swagger and punch, consequently it lacks some finesse. Atypical for Drouhin in its robustness and force.
Winery Notes
A wine of great elegance! Intense deep ruby colour. Characteristic aromas of wild cherry combining with fine spice and a subtle note of musk. On the palate, the first impression is of silk. Refined tannins of great breed; lively notes. Lingering aftertaste with a myriad of sensations.
