A slightly more elegant, and airier, nose displays aromas of vaguely earthy red berries, underbrush and spice that are trimmed in subtle wood nuances. There is excellent punch, if again only average density, to the utterly delicious, sleek and inviting medium-bodied flavors that flash evident minerality on the wonderfully refreshing, long and well-balanced finish. This is really quite fine, even sophisticated, which is rarely the case for Gevrey villages wines. Recommended provided you intend to cellar it at least for a few years.
