The 2018 Pélerins de Lafon-Rochet, the second wine, offers ample blackberry, blueberry and light menthol aromas on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied, well balanced with a fine bead of acidity. I appreciate the purity of fruit here, bright and lively, with crunch blackberry and light graphite notes on the finish. This is well worth seeking out.
