The 2020 Les Tourelles de Longueville has a ripe bouquet with predominantly red fruit—raspberry and cranberry— and some creamy oak to be subsumed with bottle age. The palate is medium-bodied with fleshy tannins. It’s quite a voluminous and forward wine, but like a couple of others, there’s a touch of alcoholic warmth that blurs the finish. Tasted blind at the annual Southwold tasting.
