91-93 The 2021 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru includes 70% whole bunches. It offers commingling red and black fruit on the nose, with loam and touches of citrus fruit. Focused if just missing a little complexity. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-boned tannins and just the right amount of dryness. Hints of dark chocolate interlace the dark berry fruit on the finish. Traces of cola arrive on the aftertaste. Drink over the next 15 years.
