Much like the Echézeaux, there is enough reduction present to push everything but various spice nuances to the background. The middle weight flavors are not particularly dense but they do possess a sophisticated texture all the same though the finish is somewhat short and even a bit strict today. This may well better harmonize once the tannins begin to resolve and my rating offers the benefit of the doubt.
