Long-term Pre-arrival Items
Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

Le Moine’s two barrels of 2007 Charmes-Chambertin (one from Mazoyeres) display pure red currant and dark cherry fruit aromas and flavors, tinged with nutmeg and vanilla in an elegant, polished context, and finishing with saline and chalky inflections to its sirloin juices and its generously juicy, ripe but by no means superficially sweet fruit. This bids fair to reward upwards of a decade’s cellaring, yet I perceive no reason to defer the pleasure of its company soon after bottling.

Mild reduction cannot completely hide the notes of red berry fruit and earth lurking beneath the funk that lead to vibrant, intense and rich flavors that possess a certain fullness yet with no loss of detail on the delicious, complex, sappy and impressively persistent finish. There is fine balance as well as plenty of underlying material that enable this to age well into the next decade.

Medium red. Redcurrant, spices and a floral nuance on the high-pitched nose. Fresh but tight, with a suggestion of dried flowers. Nicely juicy but not yet showing much complexity. Finishes with firm tannins and good verve.
Winery Notes
As the name suggests, wines from this vineyard are full of charm - beautiful aromatics and weight. Mounir looks for the “charm” in Charmes-Chambertin - a wine with sweetness, fruit, spice, chocolate notes. He feels it is at its best when it is attractive and approachable.
