More of a long-term prospect than the ’11, it offers massive creme de cassis, scorched earth, graphite and crushed-rock like minerality to go with a full-bodied, rich, textured and structured profile on the palate. The purity here is off-the-charts and this incredible Syrah should be given 4-5 years in the cellar and enjoyed over the following two decades.
