The full-bodied 2019 Hermitage Blanc also had its malolactic fermentation blocked, which no doubt accounts for its crisp, slightly narrow feel on the palate. It does offer attractive notes of honeyed pears, white peaches and ripe pineapple, with a long, richly textured finish.
