92-94 The 2021 Marquis d’Alesme is packed with inky dark fruit, licorice, lavender, spice, graphite and new leather. Although not exactly the last word in finesse, the 2021 certainly packs a good bit of punch. Incisive tannins will need a few years to settle down.
