Aromas and flavors of hot beeswax, and lavender honey, honeycomb cereal, candied green apple, baked pear, and orange preserves on baked brie, lemon tea, chai tea, and and anise with a round, crisp, bone-dry medium-to-full body and a tingling, complex, medium-long finish revealing nuances of orange marmalade on toasted whole grain bread, garden herb and chive cheese umami, and red apple. This whiskey contains single pot still compenents aged in ex-bourbon, ex-sherry, and ex-malaga wine casks. This maturation gives an added layer of complexity compared with its younger sibling Green Spot, but delves into the more complex aspects of the Single Pot Still Spirit. Aromas of mown hay, cracked black pepper, nutmeg, clove oil and green tea. Sweet honey and peaches from the Malaga casks. Pot still spices, honey and red apple combine with flavours of creme brulee, fresh coffee and toasted oak all evident throughout.
