A blend of wheat whiskey and wheated bourbon. Fruity, sweet, and grain-forward on the nose, with strawberry hard candies, honey-wheat pretzels, graham crackers, and lemon meringue pie. With water, peanut brittle and tiramisu. There’s additional honey then bread on the palate, along with peppery spice, burnt brown sugar, espresso beans, and bitter chocolate. That spice and chocolate carry over to the finish, which evokes nutty chocolate brownies. A rich and flavorful whiskey that benefits from a few drops of water. – Winter 2022
