An exuberantly floral nose speaks of a range of spice elements, citrus confit and just sliced fennel. The exceptionally fine middle weight flavors possess an almost lilting mouthfeel while exuding a more subtle bead of minerality on the seductive, sappy and beautifully well-balanced finale. Chalumeaux isn’t always this refined but to its credit, this is a wine of finesse and grace.
