Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

The 2018 Pinot Noir Savoy Vineyard is a touch more restrained and delicately styled than its 2017 counterpart. The nose opens with flint, woodsmoke, aniseed and oolong tea leaves with blueberry, cranberry and tangerine fruits. Light to medium-bodied, it offers delicate, angostura-laced fruits in a silky, fresh frame with a long, delicate, perfumed finish. 375 cases were made.

The 2018 Pinot Noir Savoy Vineyard is bold, racy and immediate, as wines from this site tend to be. Super-ripe red cherry, red plum and spice notes all race out of the glass in this succulent, wonderfully inviting Pinot. There is so much to like here, including the wine's sheer fruit presence.
Winery Notes
The Savoy Pinot noir is the most easy-going and fruit oriented of our single vineyard Pinot noirs fully capturing the qualities that have made Savoy one of the greatest Pinot noir vineyards in the New World. Though our interpretation might be a touch less hedonistic than most producers of this wine, there is a certain come hither quality I find very compelling. I often have trouble spitting our Savoy out when I am pouring it all day for customers in the market. The aroma on the 2018 Savoy is captivating with sexy rose petal and dried leaf components complementing the iron, dark cherry, and red apple skin flavors. The mid palate is fresh with medium body and silky but light tannins. This is an incredibly easy wine to love and is pleasurable right now and will be for the next 10+ years.
