Restrained brambleberries with licorice root, slightly leafy eucalyptus and integrated graphite. Full body with elegant, velvety tannins, crisp acidity and a tight-knit structure. Power and extraction here, but a good, toasty finish with a sweet-tobacco aftertaste. One of the best examples of 2022. Drinkable now, but best in 10 years.

Firm oak-driven palate with concentrated bramble and red cherry core, polished tannins and a spicy finish. (Silver) - DWWA 2025

Winery Notes

An enticing combination of black currant, black cherry, violet, cedar and cigar box flavors highlight. This intense, structured red, which needs some time to resolve the tannins, but this shows ample fruit and balance. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot.
