Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

The Rhone Valley of southern France is a particularly fascinating wine region, with a history that stretches back to at least six hundred BCE, when the ancient Greeks first began cultivating vines there. The region itself is split into two distinct sub-regions, with the northern sub-region being famed for its production of exceptional Syrah, Marsanne, Roussane and Viognier wines, packed full of interesting character and expressing the terroir found there. The southern sub-region is home to an enormous variety of grapes, and produces red, white and rosé wines, and some of the world's most famous and adored blended wines. The continental climate of the region is ideal for growing grapes, and the winds which blow from the Central Massif help temper the heat in the vineyards, leading to very ripe fruits holding plenty of flavor.

Chateauneuf Du Pape
Châteauneuf-du-Pape, an illustrious wine appellation in the Southern Rhône Valley, France, stands as a vinous icon recognized for its robust red blends. Fleshy and concentrated yet light on its feet, offering appealingly sweet raspberry, boysenberry and spicecake flavors that turn sweeter on the back half. A spine of smoky minerality adds lift and structure and energizes the extremely long, focused finish, which features slow-building tannins and a resonating floral note.

A very different style of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, with a particularly smoky aroma - similar to unburnt charcoal - which is likely to be at least in part through reduction rather than oak. Cherry, raspberry and touches of blackcurrant form the fruit core, backed by tobacco and allspice, although it's not fat, overly generous or flowing, but tightly austere on the mid-palate and finishing grippy, with serrated, fine-grained tannins and a great, rising salinity. A wine of formidable energy, freshness and vibrancy, which is all about structure and texture, rather than fruit. Really shows a different side of Châteauneuf, placing to the fore the mineral bones that gives Châteauneuf its ageability.

The 2015 Châteauneuf du Pape Omni is 80% Grenache and 10% each of Syrah and Mourvèdre. It was fermented with 100% stems, followed by two years in barrel, where it was never racked. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, it offers a translucent ruby color to go with terrific notes of black cherries, garrigue, peppery, and scorched earth. Perfumed, floral, elegant and lively on the palate, with a notable sense of freshness, it’s an outstanding Châteauneuf du Pape to drink over the coming 10-15 years.
Winery Notes
Omnia, Latin for “all,” is a wine that attempts to encompass the full diversity of the Chateauneuf-du-Pape appellation, both in its terroir and vinification. Fruit comes from vineyards in all 5 of the Chateauneuf communes (Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Courthezon, Sorgues, Bedarrides and Orange) and aged in foudre, cement and 500 liter barrels.
