Good dark red. Aromas of plum, game and roast coffee. Fat, round and sweet; less penetrating than the Corbeaux but more plump in the middle palate. Finishes with very good length, but some CO2 temporarily dries the fruit on the end. I’d wait at least two or three years on this premier cru.

A different expression with more leather and earth notes and a touch more complexity on the finish. This too is ever so slightly finer and more subtle than the Vieilles Vignes. Very pretty in a medium weight package.
