This is also very pretty with its mix of elegant and admirably pure aromas of mostly dark currant and plus along with subtle, and similar, nuances of earth and spice. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension suffusing the reasonably dense medium weight flavors that conclude in a lingering and relatively refined finish. While this could use better depth, it’s a wine that could be enjoyed after only a few years of aging or held for up to a decade.
