Disgorged in July 2025 with a dosage of four grams per liter, Suenen’s newest NV Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Oiry—vinified in nearly equal parts stainless steel and oak (approximately 25% new)—is drawn from the 2022 vintage and incorporates 50% perpetual reserve dating back to 2013. The wine articulates aromas of pear, white peach and dried flowers mingled with notes of freshly baked bread and citrus oil, with a faint hint of youthful reduction. The palate is medium- to full-bodied and concentrated, fleshy and textural, with a muscular core, ripe yet racy acidity and a chalky finish. It stands in marked contrast to the incisive, 2021-based rendition.
