Here there is just enough wood present to merit pointing out on the more floral-suffused nose of mostly cool pear and anise. The moderately dense flavors possess excellent intensity as well as a lovely texture before terminating in a bone-dry and youthfully austere finale that is quite tightly coiled. This could use better depth but the development potential appears to be present for that to occur.
