Vinous Media

Bright medium ruby. Aromas of cassis, licorice and violet convey much more energy than the Cobos Marchiori Vineyard Malbec. Highly concentrated, broad and utterly seamless, with enough acidity to give shape and lift to the dark berry flavors. This large-scaled, rather powerful wine finishes with serious but ripe tannins and terrific palate-saturating length.

Wine Enthusiast

Gritty berry aromas are solid but a bit underwhelming for a wine of this price. Heavy, sticky and tannic on the palate, this tastes of herbal berry fruits and a ton of oak. That woodiness reverberates on the finish via maple, resin and toast flavors, while hard tannins make this more about power than finesse. Drink through 2025.

Wine Spectator

Creamy hints to the cherry tart and dark plum flavors give this a touch of richness. The savory finish lingers with cocoa powder and dried green herbs. Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec. Drink now through 2021. 50 cases imported.
