Regularly described as being the grape varietal responsible for producing the world's most romantic wines, Pinot Noir has long been associated with elegance and a broad range of flavors The name means 'black pine' in French, and this is due to the fact that the fruit of this particular varietal is especially dark in color, and hangs in a conical shape, like that of a pine cone. Dark and brooding, the aromatics showcase a broad spectrum of black and red fruits in the 2021 Lewis MacGregor Estate Pinot Noir. The concentration on the nose is compelling and is leavened with hints of anise, bergamot, and cedar. Broad and saturating on the entry, the wine overwhelms the palate with dense notes of berry fruits, citrus, and black tea. The sensation of the black tea-like tannin lingers on the palate all the way through the long finish.
