A mix of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from the Haut-Médoc, the 2018 Château Larose Perganson is a classic, enjoyable wine from the vintage that has lots of currant fruits, some cedary and bell pepper notes, medium-bodied richness, and a nicely balanced, elegant texture that's going to hold for 5-7 years or so. This is a workhorse-styled, classic, enjoyable Haut-Médoc with rock-solid character.
