There are few regions in the world with stricter regulations in regards to wine production and grape varietals than those found in Bordeaux, France. Deep ruby. Lovely aromas of dark plum, blackcurrant, graphite and black pepper. Then smooth and rich on the palate, with ripe blackberry and chocolate-covered blackcurrant flavors showing very good precision and lift. Finishes with lively acids and a bit of warmth, but this balanced, serious wine will provide delicious early drinking.

Winery Notes

This wine's warm, fat, jammy blackberry-Merlot fruit is offset by aromatic nuances of minerals and earth, set in a lush, chewy texture and supported by a supple, well balanced tannic structure.
