The 2020 Desmirail is every bit as impressive from bottle as it was from barrel. Silky and transparent in the glass, the 2020 offers up a heady mix of super-ripe red fruits, spice, dried herbs, rose petal and new French oak. Desmirail is racy and forward in style, but not at all heavy. Sweet floral and spice notes resonate on the finish. It’s a balance that works so well here.
