Michael Gros has headed up the family estate in Vosne-Romanée since 1975 although his son, Pierre, is now in charge of winemaking. The 4ha, east-facing lieu-dit of Fontaine Saint Martin has been a monopole from 2014. Firm textured, with wild-berry characters this still needs a little time to soften but has very good potential. A fine advert for the refreshing, lively wines coming from the Hautes-Côtes.
