90-92 The 2021 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Vallerots comes from the 0.5-hectare of older vines planted in the 1984.
The fruit here is darker, with cranberry and touches of blackcurrant and hints of sous-bois. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, nicely structured with a dash of white pepper on the finish. This should give a decade’s worth of drinking pleasure.
