Long-term Pre-arrival Items
Long Term Pre-arrival Definition: Ordering wine directly through us from our supplier partners in Europe in advance of the item’s physical arrival in the US.
Long Term Pre-arrival sales ensure you’re getting the best possible price and that you have also secured the product before it hits the normal retail supply chain. The lead time for Pre-arrival goods is generally 4–8 months, sometimes longer based on supply chain and the logistics of transporting goods overseas. The expectation, from our team, is to communicate to the customer the location of their purchase every step of the way.
This product is offered as a full case purchase option, minimum order quantities may be applicable. When available, multiple case options will be presented. If you are purchasing a Pre-Arrival item you must order a solid case.
Rapid Ship
Items listed as "rapid ship" are in stock and available for immediate pickup or shipment. Those that do not have the "rapid ship" icon are housed with our supplier and must be transferred to our warehouse before they can be picked up or shipped. This requires 4-6 business days but usually occurs sooner. Some products will list both options of availability as there will be a certain number in stock, with the option to order additional bottles to be transferred from the supplier.

Due to a devastating hailstorm, no Delfi will be produced this vintage, and yields are minuscule. However, the 2022 Château Fontenil from this remarkable winemaker is well worth seeking out. Loads of cassis, ripe black cherries, spicy wood, and savory, incense-like notes all define the aromatics, and it’s medium to full-bodied, with a broad, layered mouthfeel, sweet tannins, and a gorgeous finish. All Merlot that was raised 18 months in just 30% new oak, this fabulous Fronsac can be enjoyed any time over the coming two decades or more. The 2022 hit 14% alcohol with a great pH of 3.68.
There are few regions in the world with stricter regulations in regards to wine production and grape varietals than those found in Bordeaux, France. Medium in body, the 2022 offers a striking mix of creamy texture and energy. Floral top notes brighten the persistent, articulate finish. This is beautifully done.

From 10 hectares of Merlot vines farmed by the Rolland family, this presents an expressive although rather understated nose, the blackberry and currant fruits sitting beneath an upper layer of sandalwood and perfumed oak barrel. It has a sense of harmony, and this continues on the palate, which presents a coherent whole, with savoury peppered fruits, all blackberry, damson, liquorice and currant, with a wrapping of toasted sandalwood reflecting the character on the nose. It finishes with a flourish of tight and tannin which feels more precisely managed than some of its peers. Very primary, but this has surefire potential;give it ten years or more. The alcohol on the label is 14%.
