The 2014 Extra Brut Blanc de Blanc Millesime Grand Cru is bright and nicely focused, but also effortlessly softened by the passage of time. Dried citrus peel, spice, marzipan and chamomile fill out the layers. Soft contours wrap it all together in style. The 2014 is a fine choice for drinking now and over the next handful of years. The Millésimé is sourced from 60-plus-year-old vines, all in Mesnil.
