Riesling grapes have been grown in and around central Europe for centuries, and over time, they became the lasting symbol of south Germany's ancient and proud wine culture. Whilst the reputation of German wines abroad has in the past been mixed, the Germans themselves take an enormous amount of pride in their wineries, and Riesling grapes have now spread around the globe, growing anywhere with the correct climate in which they can thrive. The pink grapefruit, honeysuckle and pickled ginger aromas are married to a very complex texture on the super-elegant, medium-bodied palate, the chalky minerality beautifully intertwined with the delicate tannins and peachy fruit. Extremely long, salty finish with mind-blowing finesse. Fermented and matured in neutral oak puncheon casks. Drink or hold.

Winery Notes

Citrus pith, lime juice, crunchy mango, and candied ginger on the nose, with hints of honeysuckle and earthy undertones. Blood orange in the mouth, with more ginger and floral notes. Mouth filling, slight phenolic edge with talcy finish extended by a prominent acid spine.
