A brilliant Saint-Emilion, the 2023 Château Jean Faure offers fresh raspberries, redcurrants, spring flowers, violets, and spicy wood on the nose. Medium-bodied on the palate, it has a pure, graceful mouthfeel, polished, fine tannins, and outstanding length. It should be snatched up by savvy readers and might be the finest vintage of this cuvée I’ve tasted. It will keep for two decades. Drink 2026-2046.
