From a steep, south-facing 30% slope high on the hillside, on red soils rich in iron oxides, the 2024 Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru Les Crays shows immediate lift and a clear line of power. Medium- to full-bodied, it centers on yellow fruit with an explosive saline drive. The fruit is concentrated yet expansive, balanced by lime-tinged acidity. Long and mouthwatering on the finish, it has the substance and structure to age confidently in the cellar.
