90-92 A more subtle though still easily perceptible dollop of wood surrounds notes of reduction and a phenolic hint. The exceptionally rich, even lavish, medium weight flavors coat the mouth with sappy dry extract that is buffered by firm and bright acidity on the balanced finale. This is sufficiently structured to repay 5 to 8 years of cellaring. Lovely and relatively understated in style.
